Job Description
Brooksource Hiring Software Engineer in Birmingham, AL – As a Java Developer, you will work on a large-scale project to support our health insurance client’s member portal content management system. You will interact and work in a Java/Spring environment to upgrade this highly customised portal to better support current apps, as part of a big team of 28 engineers. The member portal is built with Java on the backend, Spring Boot on the frontend, and Microservices and React on the frontend.
You will be taught in a highly sought-after technology while working on the member portal project, which is an extra bonus! You’ll need to move swiftly, be vigilant, and pay close attention to detail in this Agile workplace.
Qualification
Strong problem-solving abilities that result in usable, maintainable software. High-level language skills in C/C++ and Python, as well as Linux experience. Embedded system development and object-oriented design and implementation concepts
Eligibility Criteria
Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with the React framework
Minimum of 3 years of Java development experience, with expertise in API authoring, Microservices, and Web development. Having a strong work ethic and tenacity, as well as a passion for technology and your job.
