Zendesk Hiring Senior Software Engineer in Alaska, United States – To join our team, we’re searching for a seasoned software developer. We need you to be enthusiastic about working on strong, enterprise-grade software, with all of its complexities and challenges. This necessitates a delicate balancing act of dedication to quality, problem-solving, and cooperation, as well as a readiness to grow and compromise. The team has a track record of building highly dependable and scalable microservices and extending the product’s complicated areas.
Qualifications
3+ years of demonstrated expertise creating enterprise-grade software in an agile, fast-paced environment, with exposure to some of the issues that come with working on a global scale. A thorough grasp of all web application stacks is required. Server-side languages and runtimes knowledge and expertise (Ruby, Java or equivalent).
Responsibilities
Define projects and associated performance criteria in collaboration with Product Management, Product Design, Engineers, and Operations Engineers. Participate in the technological development of significant and important new projects. Challenge the current quo, come up with alternative and innovative ideas, and push for change to identify and lead new efforts for progress. Digging into and improving obscure parts of the product codebase will help you learn more about them.
Eligibility Criteria
Implementing a strong, resilient, extensible design that supports important business flows at a senior level to the data platform design.
To populate the data lake, perform all essential data transformations.
Creating efficient design and programming techniques that meet SLAs and make the data platform easier to maintain.
